Sale Services

From our large and convenient auction rooms, we conduct regular general and specialist auctions. We specialise in the sale of jewellery, watches, silver, paintings, antique furniture, collectables, militaria, sporting items (and much more). We market to a huge global audience, streaming all of our auctions online through two platforms - creating a competitive bidding environment to ensure that our clients achieve the maximum and true value of their items.

In addition to conducting sales at the auction rooms, we provide a bespoke service and can hold auctions on premises and we have conducted sales in country houses and hotels.

Probate Services

Arranging the valuation and sale of the items belonging to a loved one can be daunting, difficult and distressing, especially when dealing with their treasured possessions and house contents. Many of the team have direct experience of handling these matters and we act with empathy and are there to support and guide. 

We can provide a complete and seamless service to take care of every stage of the process, recognising the needs of executors, beneficiaries, legal advisors, solicitors, estate agents and other professional services. 

The services we offer include:

• Preparing an HMRC compliant  valuation report of the contents of a home 
• Identifying those items that are saleable
• Working with our approved couriers and hauliers who can bring items to the auction rooms for sale
• Recommending house clearance contractors who will clear all of the unsaleable items that are not suitable for auction; recycling them or donating them to charity as you so wish and aiming to keep waste to a minimum. The property will be left clean and tidy.

Our property experts can also provide valuations for inheritance tax purposes either as a market appraisal or a formal red book valuation and market the property delivering a comprehensive marketing service.

House Clearances

Whilst we do not conduct house clearances ourselves, we can recommend approved contractors who can arrange saleable items to be taken to the auction rooms and for all other items to be removed.
