Killens Mendip Auction Rooms have a specialist team able to provide a service of the highest standards.

The Mendip Auction Rooms were established on the Mendip Hills, just outside the rural village of Binegar, in 2012 and have a specialist team able to provide a service of the highest standards.

Killens conduct regular auctions throughout the year and the team can also provide valuation advice, arrange house clearances and, working with their colleagues in the Killens property teams, assist in the disposal of property. Killens strive to work to the highest standards and can genuinely provide a ‘one stop’ service for all your property needs.

In conducting auctions, our skilled staff provide reliable valuation advice based upon extensive experience and ensure that items are sold in the most appropriate sale to achieve the best price. At Killens, we pride ourselves on being firmly focussed on customer service and making auctions an enjoyable experience for sellers and buyers. Our charges are very competitive, but we do not compromise on the service delivered.

We are open Monday to Friday 10am to 5pm with extended hours on viewing and sale days.

Auctioneer

Tom established the Mendip Auction Rooms in 2012 and has over 30 years experience in undertaking auctions and providing advice on a range of matters throughout the West Country.

Simon Ball
Valuer

Qualified in the RICS, Simon mainly grew up on the Mendips and has spent almost forty years working in the auction world in sale rooms in England and New York and has extensive valuation experience.

Craig Lear
Valuer/Auctioneer

Having once obtained a BA in Artist blacksmithing, Craig has since gained excellent experience of working in the auction industry. Craig has an eye for design with his expertise being 20th Century design as well as Toys and Militaria & Arms.

Catherine Brand
Office Administrator

Catherine has a military background with a varied administrative career including work with the Diplomatic service, property and Auction House sectors. Catherine lives in Holcombe and in her spare time enjoys playing competitive tennis, singing with the Westfield Ladies Choir and getting involved with village life.

Brian Lang
Saleroom Manager

Brian has a real interest in antiques and is very capable in overseeing the day to day management of the saleroom ensuring that items are properly accepted, laid out, presented, sold and collected. He cares passionately about customer service and ensuring that a customer's experience of selling or buying is an enjoyable one.

Toby Dawkins
Saleroom Assistant

Toby joined Killens in 2019 as an apprentice and has developed into a capable, enthusiastic and conscientious member of the team who is able to assist in all aspects of the auction rooms.
